Abstract Axial compression performance of concrete columns reinforced with 2304 solid stainless bars and spirals, carbon steel 316 L clad is examined after the are exposed to severe corrosion. Two groups were investigated: a control group, group submerged in 5.0% by weight chloride solution subjected accelerated A relatively high impressed current density 8.5 μA/mm 2 was used 60 days corrosion tested failure under axial compression.
